Climb@T3

Organised a birthday party for my kid there last week. Team was responsive and accommodating during the planning and on the event day, the coaches hosting the event were fantastic. All the kids had a blast, even those who never tried rockwall climbing before. Highly recommended for a memorable time with family and friends!

This is a good climbing place for kids. My 3 kids aged 4, 8 and 10yo had a lot of fun climbing today. There were easy and challenging walls for all my 3 kids. There are auto belays so we don’t have to worry about belayers. The place is pretty small, just 9 ropes. But I like that it’s small so I can easily watch/help my children. The instructor Faisal was very patient and I appreciate that he was looking out for my 4yo all the time during the guided session. Clara was very helpful to help my kids get ready for the climbing session.

The two young girls are definitely not certified coach/instructor for guided climb.. Even one mom who guided her own son better asked if the coach/instructor is certified and she answered her “not certified but can just guide the climb..” How convincing 🤭 My daughter definitely didn’t enjoy and was unmotivated to climb the guided one.. nothing was done to motivate her, oh well, instructor is unqualified afterall.. My daughter just enjoy the free climbing wall.. thats all..

Singapore Climbing Gym Stop #29/35 🧗 Operated by Rock School, this children's climbing gym is located in Terminal 3 of Changi Airport. It's tucked away in a small, inconspicuous corner, sharing the same space as a slide. Entry is via the elevator opposite Counter 11 (China Airlines) to the B3 level. There's only one bouldering area and one wall. Toilets are located on B3. There are no difficulty levels. Both the bouldering and climbing areas are designed for children, with large, closely spaced spots. The climbing area has nine auto-belay routes. Entry is restricted and the pricing is complex, with options for those with and without instructors. Instructors are only available during specific times. For adults with children, the price is S$19 for the child and S$10 for the adult not climbing, limited to two hours. This place opened on March 4, 2023. Considering the quality of the rock climbing area, price, location, facilities, opening hours, target customer base, and its performance on Google Maps, it's probably going to close down very soon… Also, there's almost no signage at the airport. The first time I tried to find it, it took me twenty minutes. Today, I had plenty of time, but even with that experience, it took me half an hour to find it. Do they even intend to run this business? I don't understand!

Came for the holiday session for my kid. This place is overbooked even when it’s scheduled. Wait time is long. Don’t bother.
