After being to all CPCM outlets in Singapore, I can guarantee that my experience in this particular outlet in downtown east is by far the best and probably cpcm’s only saving grace. Decided to spend my New Year Holiday here on 01/01/2024 about 4-5 hours of play time. Solid service by the staffs despite the large crowd. Despite having to call for QR assistance a number of times, I have never seen the Queue number crossed more than 5 and waiting time is SUPER FAST. Notable 3 amazing staffs that has rendered me assistance when needed throughout my entire play time there; Nas(manager I think?), Bryan and ah wei if I didn’t get their names wrong. Nas: fast response and working around the entire place. Always helping with a smile and joked with other customers who I presume are regulars there. Bryan: A few times which I didn’t scan for help as was too engrossed in playing but took the initiative to come and help me with the stuck card dispenser. Trust me, I don’t see such initiative taken at any other outlets. Ah Wei: My goodness this staff, is working with such haste that you can almost see him ‘running’ / breeze walking around rendering his assistance to anyone who needed help. Workers at the counters were friendly as well. All in all, this is an experience that I would love to share. Sure there are some cons to this outlet as some machines are taped/not working but this is happening to other outlets as well. Not a big issue. Service however was the BEST out of all. Big boss of Cpcm if you were to read this, pls treasure and appreciate the 3 staffs that have mentioned as these people are probably the only saving grace of this outlet, or rather your biz. Not sure what’s the many negative reviews but all I can say is this is an entertainment place and my experience here was amazing. This isnt Singapore Airlines or some fine dining restaurants where you would expect staffs with top notch service or greating you with all smiles. Place is packed with people, but helped was always there with little wait time couldn’t ask for more. Have to travel abit more to get to this place, but I guess I will be spending my remaining time and tokens at this outlet 👍🏼

I want to commend the amazing staff at the Downtown East branch. Even though they are often understaffed, they are always kind, patient, and professional. They have never been rude to me, and they never doubt me when I report an issue, like when coins do not dispense. If there is any delay in assistance, they always apologise sincerely. In particular, I want to highlight the cashier lady with spectacles who has been so kind to me since I started visiting about two months ago to destress from work. She patiently taught me how the membership system works and explained how the coin dispensing works. There is also a very tall male staff member with spectacles who is extremely hardworking — he constantly goes the extra mile without being asked. It’s clear that the staff here work very hard, probably under tough conditions with long hours and modest pay. I hope the management recognises and appreciates their dedication. Because of these wonderful staff members, I will continue to support this outlet. Thank you for making each visit such a positive experience!

Friends had a chalet at Downtown East and we arrived at CPCM (DT) at 9:20 am. Could see one tall Chinese young man already opening shop. Shortly, a counter lady also arrived. Love their professionalism to attempt to open shop on time at 10 am sharp unlike other outlets. Love the way they tidy the place, arranging chairs (so running kids will not trip), clearing coin containers, fixing rocking chairs, topping up tickets in the machines non stop. Amazing background works to ensure we have a good time. Amazing work ethics. Wondering if CPCM management could see these reviews. Operator’s name as Ah Qiang. A good 5/5. We had a good time at CPCM (DT).

Had a pretty bad experience here!! The Indian cpcm staff shouted at us when we needed helped for a machine which was broken!! He was also wearing his earbuds which may cause him to not hear us clearly as the arcade is a noisy place. He initially asked us to finish our game then he will solve the problem afterwards, when I asked him what is the solution that could be provided he started raising his voice at us and saying he had ask us to STOP PLAYING when he said we can continued previously when he came to help. He also said that he cannot provide us any solution and he even said to not give us our tickets which we spend money on. When I said I will want to talk to the manager or senior he got angrier and started threatening us that he is the professional here and NO ONE ELSE could help us because he was INCHARGE of the machines at that area. He even said to complain us so that we get ban from cpcm. Saying that we don’t have mutual respect for him when he raise his voice to his customers first!! In no way we were trying to disrespect him but he started raising his voice first when problem can be easily solve by just giving us our tickets and providing a solution on the remaining stuck. I have been to this and other outlet multiple times, supporting cpcm for a few years and it was really my first encounter of such situation in cpcm. I am Really disappointed with the service for the first time. I don’t think I will return to this outlet again. I get it that it’s Christmas and it’s busy but I don’t think this should be the attitude that they should be offering to their customers. If you can’t due with busy crowds then maybe this isn’t the job for you. Really thankful to the other staff who came to help us solve the problem quick and apologising on behalf of his colleague. The staff that threaten us then continue blaming us for the argument he and his colleagues have afterwards which I felt was UNNECESSARY. Hopeful cpcm can look into it. We ended up leaving the place as we do not want to be treated with no respect as customers. If your staff have the rights to threaten their customers on not giving the tickets back, banning them from cpcm and shouting at the customers. I think there is a problem with the service line.

Horrible experience. Exchanged $10 worth of tokens for some claw machine and half of the prizes are placed out of the claw’s reach. You wouldn’t know it until you put in the tokens. I know the odds are always in the favor of the machine owners but this is ridiculous. The machines are not all operable too. Our tokens ($2 worth) got stuck and we approached 2 staff. Both of them are unresponsive and seems agitated when customers approached them for help. Wouldn’t recommend anyone to come here.

Came to the arcade outlet today as Pasir Ris today and used cash to buy tokens. Today they told me that if I am non member even if I win tickets, I have to purchase member. Didn’t tell me that in the first place. Saying their system cannot accept tickets unless I am member. So now I’m being forced to join member. I know my tickets are not a lot but then why make someone spend and win tickets but unable to claim unless we join them as member. The next door arcade Whimsy, is a better choice, more user friendly with no strings attached, even though they don’t have as much machine choice.
