Monday Coffee Bar is primarily a cafe-restaurant, not a dedicated kids birthday party venue. While two reviewers mentioned hosting their children's 1st birthday parties there with positive experiences citing good food, spacious layout, and pleasant ambience, the overwhelming majority of reviews focus on coffee quality and brunch dining rather than party hosting capabilities.

We decided to hold our son’s 1st birthday party at Monday Coffee Bar after attending a friend’s child’s party there — we loved the food and the ambience. I was really pleased that the staff honored the rates from my enquiry back in August, even though the prices have since changed. We only had about 15 minutes to set up, so it was a bit of a scramble at first, but the space is big and the vibe is perfect for a cozy, intimate party. All my guests loved the food and the coffee. We’ll definitely consider Monday Coffee Bar for future events and brunch!

I visited Monday Coffee Bar located at 209A Clementi Ave 6, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish! This cozy cafe has quickly become one of my favorite spots for brunch in the area. I ordered the Daily Breakfast Set which is priced at $20.It was a generous portion that included crispy tater tots, flavorful German sausage, and perfectly scrambled eggs served with sourdough bread. The combination was not only delicious but also satisfying. I particularly loved the crispy texture of the tater tots and the savory taste of the sausage. The only thing I would change is having the sourdough bread served separately from the eggs, as I prefer to enjoy them individually. The atmosphere of Monday Coffee Bar is another highlight. The cafe is beautifully designed with Japanese minimalist decor, featuring warm wooden tones and simple yet elegant furnishings that create a relaxing ambiance. It’s an ideal spot for catching up with friends or enjoying a quiet meal alone. In addition to the great food, I found the service to be friendly and attentive. The staff made me feel welcome and were happy to answer any questions about the menu. One practical aspect worth mentioning is the parking situation. Although I didn’t drive today, I noticed plenty of HDB parking spaces available within a short distance from the cafe. The rates are reasonable, making it convenient for those who do choose to drive.

Nice atmosphere, we ordered the all day breakfast but abit disappointing as the portion was small, egg was overcooked. I wish it comes with potatoes instead of hash browns for the price. Nice coffee. Turkey ham sandwich was normal but if it comes with some salad at the side or veggies in it will be better.

Food was expensive but pretty mid… Loved the red wine sauce but the beef cheek was pretty bland. Roast chicken was better. Matcha was disappointing 😭 the colour was dull green and it was quite grainy. Found out they use matcha paste. Latte was good though. Altogether 2 sides, 2 mains and 2 drinks were around $80, can use CDC vouchers. Loved the cozy ambience.

it was crowded on a PH noon, but it was still alright, waited outside for about 20 minutes, though the staff told us that the wait time was 45 minutes although we were the first group waiting and there were a few groups finishing up. that left me feeling confused. i ordered the breakfast set with scrambled egg and asked the staff if i could replace smoked salmon with with anything else, she said the kitchen is busy and can't accommodate to my request. I said it's okay, then just remove it or else i will not eat the smoked salmon and waste it. to my response, the staff just laughed and did not attend to my request. when my food came, the scrambled eggs was not seasoned. it only had a milky/buttery taste, there was no salt added. naturally, i didnt finish my smoked salmon and scrambled egg. i felt that more flexibility could be practised, especially since i did not want to waste food, and i know smoked salmon is not cheap to the business. as for the carbonara, it was advertised as pancetta ham on the physical menu, but smoked chicken on the digital menu. it's also my first time seeing spring onion on carbonara, which threw me off a little. i do love supporting cafes, especially those in the west because of the rarity of it. but this is one i will not patronize again
