Plate & Palette is a unique and fun spot! We loved the crispy waffles topped with refreshing acai and fragrant lavender ice-cream. The dark chocolate and vanilla ice-cream cups were a classic treat. The swing seats added a playful touch, making it a memorable experience for the whole family.

Food was great (really enjoyed their cheese rosti!), and the waffles and gelato ice cream was decent too. Chef did nothing wrong. The service staff on the other hand, very questionable. Colleague wanted to order a drink, staff recommended to order the drink cold instead of warm which we took on the suggestion. The staff ended up keying in 2 cold drinks instead of 1, charged us for it with no refunds. She also messed up the order for the table next to us. If the cafe was crowded and she mixed up the orders, sure we can definitely close one eye there. But the cafe wasn’t crowded (we were the only table seated when we ordered our food). Overall, decent good but questionable service staff. Which is a shame because I would return for the cheese rosti, one of the better rostis I’ve tasted in awhile. If you do wish to give it a try, be warned.

Came here with my colleagues earlier this week. To preface, I would say the food is absolutely delicious and the rosti was amazing. It was crispy, not too oily and the accompanying side dishes really complemented the overall dish. The chicken wings were great too, flavourful and tender. The younger staff clearing our dishes was polite and efficient. However, there was an incident that really soured my experience there as a customer. Upon ordering, I requested if the lemongrass pandan from the order could be prepared hot. Senior staff at the cashier said she can warm it up for me but it would be better served chilled. I said okay, can serve it chilled then. To my surprise, she served two beverages instead of one, and they were both filled with ice. I told her that we only ordered one and did not want to accept the additional drink, but she insisted that we ordered two, she said the original order already had one lemongrass pandan and I "ordered another" to be chilled. I found this absolutely ridiculous as I initially didn't even want an iced beverage in the first place and she served two iced drinks, which made zero sense. No refund offered, as we were charged for the second beverage, no apologies for the error when pointed out. Great food, but need to keep an eye on the receipt when ordering.

rude senior female staff don’t allow us to put our stuff on the table without ordering in which we were already planning to. “PAY FIRST was all i get when i wanted to put my stuff down and sit.” and yeah the whole “No sampling! it’s written there” like it’s industry standard in all cafes and i see a lot of complaints about the same staff but nothings done.
