Wheeler's Tropikana

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tropikana not just once, but twice within a three-week period, and I can't stop raving about it! From the moment we stepped in, the service was impeccable. Every staff member exuded warmth and friendliness, creating a truly inviting atmosphere. Now, let's talk about the food - it was outstanding! Each dish we ordered, from the grilled octopus to the tomahawk steak, the Iberico pork, and even the fries, was consistently delicious. We couldn't resist ordering the same items both times because they were just that good! What truly impressed me was the consistency of both the food and the service. During both visits, the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. They even noticed that we had brought tarts for a celebration and kindly offered to provide candles when they realized we hadn't requested any. It's this level of thoughtfulness and attention to detail that sets Tropikana apart. And let's not forget the live band - they added the perfect touch to an already wonderful evening. Overall, my experiences at Tropikana were nothing short of exceptional. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for top-notch service, delicious food, and a great atmosphere.

I had the pleasure of returning to Wheeler’s Tropikana for a second visit, and once again, it did not disappoint. The food is exceptional — every dish was flavorful and beautifully crafted, showing off the culinary expertise of the kitchen. The service was just as impressive as before. Raymond was warm, knowledgeable, and ensured that everything went smoothly throughout our meal. The staffs’ attention to detail really stood out, making for an stress-free and enjoyable dining experience. The ambience continues to be a major draw. The atmosphere is inviting and stylish, perfect for a relaxing night out. To top it off, the live band created a fantastic vibe, playing just the right mix of tunes without overpowering conversation. If you’re looking for a great meal, stellar service, and a fun, lively atmosphere, Wheeler’s Tropikana is definitely worth a visit. I’ll be coming back for sure!

Only managed to try 2 dishes today but can’t wait to come back to try more dishes! Heard the grills are great so will be back for meats! Really enjoyed the calamari and the pasta today! The atmosphere was amazing! Love the interiors and the chill-out tropical Bali vibes! Swimming pool and wooden furniture and fittings there really add to the look and feel too! A definite must visit space in SG! There are also great value daily promotions!

Came here to celebrate son’s birthday. Was dissatisfying and disappointed by the food. We ordered carbonara, truffle fries, wagyu striploin, iberico pork rack, Rigatoni, grilled octopus. The carbonara was bland and tasteless and serving size was small even my 15 yo son said it’s too little and too bland for him! Truffle fries was good. Iberico pork rack @$40 was not good at all. Small portion and meat was so tough. Best of all, it doesn’t taste like iberico pork at all. It taste like a normal pork rack. Grilled Octopus @$30 was only served 2 small tentacles but tasted ok. Rigatoni was too salty and the pecorino was cut too thick and not easy to chew. So in conclusion, only The Wagyu striploin was the nicest. And for such premium price, no water was provided at all unlike other Italian restaurants we patronised before. Don’t think will be back at all.

Came on a Sunday afternoon. Atmosphere and ventilation is great. Comfortable spacing between tables. Unfortunately food was disappointing especially for the price. Kids meal portion was (ridiculously) small and costs $12 each. Pasta is a plain tomato base served in an ikea kids size bowl, just half filled… Fish burger $32, which was upright when staff was walking to our table but toppled over when being served without a care(?) and no acknowledgment from staff who also just walked off after naming the wrong dish so this turned me off personally. Wagyu burger $28. Fries are tasty but too salty after a while. $100 for this meal, didn’t order any drinks. For the prices charged, you’d expect better service. Praba was the only one who asked if we needed any condiments.

Food portion is small, limited options, very expensive and menu is not kids friendly. Portobello mushrooms cook till very dry. Water cost $3 a bottle and non refillable (no chance given even for kids) Will not go back again.
