Circle C Ranch Metropolitan Park on Slaughter Creek

We love this park because it has tons of shade, open fields to play field sports, and lots of climbing gyms/playgrounds. Weekends are often quite busy with birthday parties, but it’s never super crowded. This is one of our favorite spots to visit for younger kiddos.

We always love Circle C playground because it's the shadiest on the hot Texas summer. Now they renovated it with all the cool and modern obstacles.

This is one of my favorite parks in south Austin! There's such a variety of equipment, and it's either very durable or very well maintained. The chimes and xylophone are our favorite part!

Attended a youth soccer game on a Saturday morning. Was suggested to me to arrive 30 minutes early to secure parking, which was reasonable advice. The good news is that the game I went to see was on one of the furthest back fields and there was plenty of parking nearby in the last lot. Bad news was the tight drive between boulders and poorly parked vehicles on the way to/from there. The park itself is great - native live oaks surrounding the field area are beautiful, and the play area up front is fun for a variety of ages. 5 stars for the park areas, 3 stars for the traffic flow during busy periods.

Restrooms are far away from the playground, making it difficult if you have little ones. Other than that, this place is great! It is large, with plenty of space for everyone! It has a playground, basketball court, walking trails, and soccer fields.

Great park and soccer facility. They need more grass on the soccer fields, though. Most of the bigger fields by the playground are majority dirt and that is difficult to see lines and such. A fence would also be good to protect kids from possible wildlife dangers like retrieving balls out of the brush.
