We rented this space for my son’s birthday party, and it was absolutely stunning. The layout was very thoughtfully designed with excellent flow, making it easy for both kids and adults to enjoy the space comfortably. The buffet area was tucked nicely at the corner, leaving the open middle space flexible for activities and cake cutting. The ball pit was well-sized and positioned where kids could have fun while still being clearly visible to parents. There were also plenty of activities for older kids, basketball shooting, arcade games, air hockey, and board games, kept neatly at the sides so the main area remained open. Adults weren’t left out either, with karaoke, a pool table, and a mahjong table available. Planning was a breeze. Laine was extremely easy to work with, very accommodating, and everything went smoothly from start to finish. The decorations were beautifully set up and done to a high standard, and many of our guests kept raving about how great the place was. The location was very convenient, with a car park just beside the venue and a train station only about a 5-minute walk away. The place was also very well kept and clean. Thank you Laine for allowing us to utilise Oursecondhome, making it an unforgettable experience for everyone. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this place again for future events. Laine and Jac were amazing to work with! They were responsive from the get go, accomodating to my requests regarding the designs of the backdrop, easy and friendly to communicate with and super professional with how they handled everything. The event space is very lovely and great! There is something for everyone, young and old. From mahjong to arcade game to indoor playground, my guests were all well entertained throughout the party. My guests even told me this was the best party they have been to 🤭 I especially love the location of the event space too! The event space is huge as well, we had about 90 adults and 45 children. Everyone managed to find seats and it wasn't a squeeze. Would definitely recommend you to hold your party here! TQ Laine and Jac again for the best party experience for my 1yo baby! 🙏❤️😊

Just had my baby boy’s 1st birthday party at Our Second Home (OUE Downtown Gallery). Jace was friendly and helpful during the site visit. I only realised someone else started replying in our group chat, and I was never notified or introduced, which was a bit confusing. On the party day, no one handed over the venue in person; only a video walkthrough was shared, so we had to figure things out ourselves. • Venue was great, spacious, and fun. The kids loved it. • The food was average (On & On Diners and Pho Stop), based on guest feedback. • Photos by Monday Rascals were lovely, everyone loved them, and the pricing was reasonable. • Most of my guests commented that the birthday cake looked cute but tasted dry and not great(referred by the venue, S*g**free Bakes Singapore). Overall, it was a good venue choice and we had a happy celebration. My only regret was the dessert table that cost $480. The baker mentioned she bought the animal decorations from IKEA, but I didn’t receive them back after the party. It made me wonder if I ended up sponsoring decorations for her other clients. (The dessert table was done by the same person who made the cake.)

2/5. I was close to booking the place for a bday event. However, got bad experience during viewing day as team was not entertaining questions attentively or even reluctant to answer questions due to preparation for the next party within the day. If this was the case, team should have planned and allotted a short time like 15mins to 20mins or assigned someone to accommodate questions/concerns for guests they allowed to visit to scan the place. Nonetheless, I think others would still enjoy the place, just dont go in the time they are preparing - or just advise potential clients not to visit on those times.
