The Garden Slug Family Restaurant (Pet-Friendly Seating Available)

Really thankful for The Garden Slug to help make our furkid’s birthday celebration a memorable moment 🖤 We had called in for reservation at 4.30PM for a reservation time of 6.30PM on the day itself and they still managed to prepare so many things for us! We requested a table away from people and other dogs because of our anxious SS and they did really well with the table selection. Even hung a birthday banner up on the wall and gave a pupcup cake with candle for my dog’s birthday celebration (to our pleasant surprise)! Great selection of pet food that my picky dogs enjoyed, calm and quiet environment for my anxious dog. Staff will be respectful of the dogs’ boundaries as well and provided ice water for them without us requesting. This is truely one of the better pet cafe with better human food and pet food! Would definitely recommend people to visit their with their pups! Really appreciate all the effort making our furkid’s birthday a very very happy celebration!

Atmosphere here is REALLY nice with fire music and food, and most importantly dog friendly. Staff here is super friendly and welcoming. She even gave my dog a free puppaccino! 10/10 will come again.

I seldom leave reviews but after I ate up, I really want to! I am surprised by the chicken tenders - wholesome and nothing like standard frozen fried stuff. The batter was v thin and so there’s just loads of chicken. I like the seasoning - flavourful and not overly salty! Staff was flexible to customize my Tom yum pasta - from clams to prawns. Prawns are very fresh, and I was pleasantly surprised by the soup-ish quality of the ‘sauce’. The meal feels like a warm hug, we enjoyed it immensely. We eat yummy food during cafe hopping but I seldom feel this kinda wholesome vibes from food! My dog had a omelette and needless to say, he devoured it. Am glad it’s pet-friendly too; we just didn’t linger as we were rushing to get home. Enjoyed the meal very much! I had thought initially that the food is pricey. But I do think it’s worth it and the portion is generous! This place is a keeper!

Googled for pet friendly cafe near me and this pops up. Ample parking, nice spacious environment. Food is not great, the only thing we like is the ikan keropok. Big breakfast is standard. Aglio Olio, bolognese, chicken with waffle was meh and not worth the price.

Food was so-so. Smoothie and Thai Tea kind of diluted. Staff were friendly and helpful though. Too bad my doggie didn't like their Vegan Pumpkin Cake at all.
