The Early Chapter

This is my 4th month of subscription to The Early Chapter. I am really glad to find such an immersive Chinese learning club for my child. I stumbled upon this on Instagram and decided to give it a try. My child felt in love with this club after only two trial classes and even sings the welcome songs at home. This surprised me and showed me that the innovative learning approach of The Early Chapter is effective - through learning with arts, games and story telling, they came to possession of basic Chinese sentences and words in a joyful process. This is what I believe the best part of this club. What I recommend the most among all the club activities is the “Jr explorers”. Every week, the children are lead to do different scientific experiments, these fun little experiments teach them fundamental physics and enriched their knowledge. Such innovative learning process is so much different compared to the average tutoring. This made me further believe that The Early Chapter is a innovative and creative Chinese-learning club, it indeed make learning as fun as playing and is able to teach through fun. Now every Saturday, my son asks me when will I bring him to the club. Hope The Early Chapter continues to thrive and shine with more and more fun activities!

We love our time at The Early Chapter and appreciate what it has to offer! My daughter attends various sessions, including Sensory Play, Jr. Explorer, Jr. Chef, and Play and Learn. The fun-filled sessions make learning Chinese interactive and enjoyable. The efforts to curate and create various songs, games and activities each week shows! The lessons also include themes coinciding with festivals and events such as Teachers' Day, Mid-Autumn Festival, F1, etc, which adds an immersive and cultural element to learning. When we first started out, my daughter was a little apprehensive, but as of now, I see how she has grown to look forward to attending the sessions. Conversing in Mandarin during sessions and playing with other kids really sparked her interest in the language, and she is more enthusiastic and open to learning, which is really a bonus for us because we wanted to instill a love for learning the language. My daughter also adores the free play area, which has toys, bouncy castles, legos, etc. I'm glad I chanced upon the centre! It is really a warm, inviting and nurturing environment to learn! :)

My 5yo LO had been with TEC since they established last year and had enjoyed the lessons, staff and environment. Books and play based activities are structured to cater to different age groups of learning. I had “re-up” my package with TEC a few times for the simple fact of flexibility in using the tokens. They have organised insofar two customised holiday camps for my daughter and a few of her classmates with lunch and snacks included. Program rundown and menu are always provided before the actual camp so parents can prep their kids of what’s expected in the camp. I cannot emphasise how appreciative I am towards TEC for accommodating requests, and also sitting down with me at different time to discuss how my girl is progressing. If you are looking for a Chinese immersive kids clubhouse where your kid is not just a queue number, look no further from TEC. Thank you for redefining Chinese learning , where the language isn’t abt strokes and pinyin - but a belief in cultivating interest in lifelong learning

My kid (21mth) attended Jr Chef 1-3yo. As the metal table was her height she hit her forehead at the metal table sharp corner. Please see the photos. This setting is definitely not safe or suitable for below 2 year old age group. I had feedback and the owner simply said they could not do anything. FYI there are kid friendly rounded tables out that could have been purchased? If this can happen to my almost 2 yo I can't imagine how can this be advertised for 1 yo to attend? Now my kid will cry when asked to enter the cooking room maybe because of the poor experience. :( 2 star because the bouncy castles were fun for the kids.
