Thow Kwang Pottery Jungle offers hands-on pottery workshops with patient, knowledgeable instructors and the unique attraction of Singapore's oldest active dragon kiln, making it an educational and cultural experience for kids. However, the remote location requires driving or taxis, and some reviews note rushed sessions, variable glazing quality, and the need to book far in advance due to high demand.

Brought a group of students down for a hand building workshop! Instructors were very knowledgeable and patient with kids. We had a tour of the place as well. 10/10 will be back for more

Went there for a 2.5h pottery workshop where we got to experience making our own pottery using a potter's wheel (guided) and also by manual moulding where you get to create your own masterpiece. Overall a fun experience. Do apply insect repellent if you are prone to insect bites to prevent becoming a buffet for the insects (I got more than 10 bites on my legs within 30min of arrival before they either had their fill or grew tired of my blood 😅)

Went for their one day workshop and had a blast!🤣 Their instructors were extremely patient and friendly, helped us along throughout the whole session. No prior pottery experience required at all😊 Thanks Thow Kwang team! We will definitely be back 😉 …

Better than a museum! Worth the trip going down! Don't expect cheap mass made pottery though... It is all good stuff here.. Boss are friendly and let you go around undisturbed.. Don't bring children.. especially active ones.. you wouldn't want to max your your credit CARDS if they break anything.

I attended the pottery wheel and hand building workshop with my friends. Both segments were good but felt that it was slightly rush. More guidance from the instructors during the pottery wheel segment would have been great. We had 2 instructors for a workshop of about a dozen people. Our main disappointment was in the final products. We left our pieces there for Thow Kwang to do the glazing and firing and it was done quite badly. My friend's piece had terrible glazing that they gave her another piece as compensation. My other friend's cup even had a dent in it. Mine was considered the "best" amongst the three of us. We were quite excited to use the end products but after seeing the bad glazing, we're not sure if the cups/plates are actually usable or not. Workshop was not bad but set your expectations on their glazing and firing.
