Waterfall Ristorante Italiano

We were there to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, and it was a wonderful experience. The restaurant had a welcoming ambiance, with soft, warm yellow lighting that created a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. The staff were attentive, friendly, and professional throughout our visit. The food was delicious and perfectly prepared, and it was served quickly, so we didn’t have to wait long. A special touch was the complimentary birthday cake for my daughter — a thoughtful gesture that we truly appreciated.

Waterfall Restaurant provided an exceptional birthday dinner experience! The Zuppa Di Pesce, Roasted Chicken, Pizza Margherita, Orecchiette Al Ragu, and Ravioli Ai Funghi were all delicious. The service was outstanding, with special thanks to Staff Moet, Paul, and Julius for their attentiveness and the delightful birthday cake. The entire meal was a memorable celebration, exceeding expectations in both food quality and service. We highly recommend Waterfall Restaurant for a special occasion or a delicious meal. The ambiance added to the overall enjoyment. A truly fantastic experience!

Beautiful place and amazing food. Ordered the calamari, ravioli and steak. My friend did not want pizza so we ordered steak but I think I would replace the steak with a pasta or pizza the next time. Staff were very friendly and prompt too, food came so quickly and was delicious. Celebrated a friends birthday here with beautiful ambience

Although the restaurant was fully booked for the evening, we managed to get a last-minute table thanks to the hotel’s reservations team. Overall, the ambience was cozy and we saw a number of tables celebrating special occasions. Food was above average but nothing to rave about if we were to be honest. It was good that the restaurant had a kids menu so our daughter could try smaller portions of food that she liked. We would have given the restaurant a 5* if service had been more up to the mark. We had to request for water refill, and for some reason the staff didn’t think it polite to switch the ceiling fan on after turning it off to light a birthday candle for the adjacent table (neither were we told before it was turned off). We would consider the restaurant for our next stay at Shangri-La, but would stay away for celebrations to avoid having to serve oneself 😅

We were only left with outdoor seating on a weekend dinner, it was abit warm and lightings were quite dim considering we were dining with young kids. Food was decent. Kids had pizza, the pasta from the bolognese was abit hard that the kids didn’t manage to finish. Ravioli tasted heavenly.

Food is okay, but service can be improved - really lack of a personal touch. I had indicated in the reservation, that it was my husband and daughter’s bdays (their bdays are 1 day apart) but the staff did not provide a slice of complimentary cake for my hubby or my daughter… nor the waiters wish them birthday at all. Very disappointer with this as it is an important dinner for us but it did not end as well as we expected. Also the still water is chargeable but the waiter did not indicate it. i hope the waiters in the future can just note this to other patrons and not make this feel like a sneaky charge.
