Sage Artelier is an excellent kids birthday party venue offering diverse hands-on art workshops (clay, glass painting, air-dry crafts) with exceptionally patient and attentive staff who guide children through creative projects. The spacious, calming studio environment and flexible approach to overrunning time slots create a stress-free experience for parents, though some workshops lack structured instruction and can feel less educational when multiple groups work simultaneously.

Today we hosted our son’s 7th birthday party at Sage Artelier, and it was a fantastic experience! We had a group of around 9 kids and 12 adults, and everyone—from the youngest to the oldest—had a great time. …

We had our daughter’s birthday party here today and it was a complete hit. Every member of staff were lovely, going out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed, guided those that needed some help and make sure that all the children had a fun experience. We can’t wait to visit again - thank you!

Was there with my 3yo kid for a school organised trip to paint a bear. It wasn't really painting, more of pouring paint. School charged 60 bucks for the simple activity, not sure how much the studio charged. Wouldn't really recommend as it was low value add for kid and parent.

Art Jam didn’t feel much like a workshop, as the instructions were kept to an absolute minimum, and I didn’t really learn much. The staff members were friendly and helpful, but they could have been far more proactive in teaching painting techniques. Ultimately, it felt more like an attempt to make use of SG Culture Pass credits than a meaningful learning experience.

My boyfriend brought me over to do a workshop as a birthday gift for me. The entire space was filled with kids running around and screaming. A bunch of kids were seated near us and had a manual machine to make their beanies. For the machine to operate, they had to rotate the knob. They did it so aggressively that the whole table was shaking (mind you we were holding needles). The entire time, the staff only came by twice. Once, to see if our artwork was doable and taught us how to thread the string into the needle hole. Second, was to check up on our progress. Lastly, was to pack our items into a bag. During the first interaction, the staff pointed out that my boyfriend’s initial artwork would be tough to complete as beginners and recommended to do those on the ipad/tablet. He complied and selected the snoopy piece which was small in size. He told the staff that there was no white strings available and the staff brought the thick white string to him. Towards the end, he mentioned to the staff this his snoopy looked weird, and the staff said that it was due to him using the thicker string. Now, the strings were given to him by the staff where she already knew which reference photo he has picked but she did not give him the thinner string that used in the photo as well. During the second time that the staff came by, my boyfriend mentioned to her “i don’t think i will do this part as it is too difficult for me to do it HAHAHA“ the staff did not try to help him or teach him how to do it and she just said “oh its okay you can bring home some strings and do it at home”. This was the worst workshop that we have attended as we just had to do the entire workshop without any guidance. The staff knew that we were beginners but did not help us in the process as they were helping the kids. This feels unacceptable for us as paying customers as we came here for a workshop session to learn how to do embroidery but was just left to our own hands. I think we would be better off buying the tools from shopee at less than $9 and we would still obtain the same result. Truly disappointing!
