Wang Dae Bak Grill

We ordered the Couple's "beef set" (Us wagyu sirloin, boneless prime ribs, marinated prime ribs), Couple's "pork set" (wine aged duroc pork belly, marinated pork galbi, aged duroc pork collar), ginseng chicken soup, yummy rice balls, japchae, fried dumplings and honey rice wine. Got the hotteok ice dessert for free (birthday promo). Sadly we could only claim one birthday dessert (per table) even though we had 2 birthdays that week. They provided refillable water and side dishes. Also offered to cook for us, but we decided to do it ourselves. All the beef/pork were so good! We did overcook the sirloin by a little, so that was a shame. Some of us also did not like the marination on the beef ribs, a bit of salt did help make it better though! Portion size was just nice for the 3 of us (our other 2 family members did take a bit here and there). I would definitely recommend the pork set. Everything else was also good. The honey rice wine wasnt too sweet, the honey taste wasnt strong either. My family member did say it smells like soap though. Overall, was a great meal.

The Holland V outlet is alot more comfortable. Not smokey at all. very well litted. Better suited place for couples to sit down and chill compared to other outlets. Went for lunch special. Has buy 2 get 1 meat free. staff will assist with the grilling to perfection. Personally prefer it to be cut to smaller pieces. Kids will get a basket of French fries for free. (which we enjoyed as well) Banchan was great! Didn't ask for refill as we have so much food. They even have a plate of japchae given to us. The rest are the typical kimchi, fishcake, salad beansprout and so on. We ordered pork jowl and flower belly, with a free marinated chicken. the flower belly was nicely salted. taste like bacon when we are eating it hot off the plate. our son enjoyed the marinated chicken alot with their pink salt and lastly the pork jowl... wow... very Premium with the ratio of meat and fats. its very juicy with alot of meat still. like mentioned, we preferred it to be cut to smaller size as it was abit chewy for such a big piece. Spicy cheese rice cake with Gimmai is the best we have so far. Wife usually dislike topoki, but theirs was very soft and the spicy level is perfect. (more on the spicy side) We ordered a steam egg as it wasn't given free. not as nice as we expected... Overall, this Holland V outlet of WangDaeBak is preferred for us as the atmosphere is so so much better. didn't get to order their famous pancake. will try next time

Went there for a birthday celebration. We made reservations in advance and I definitely do recommend reservations. The food was good everyone enjoyed it, especially the fried chicken. Even though the AC was like non-existent, the service was exceptional. Understood that they were really busy but they made their best to accomodate every request.

Food is good as expected, however the service was questionable. We returned the bowl of vegetables, as we noticed a strange smell from the leaves. Instead of graciously replacing this, they washed it twice and insisted there is no smell. Poorly handled. Staff also wore gloves to handle the cash register.

My husband and I ordered one beef bibimbap with soup set each. I had the spicy tofu soup, he had the seafood beanpaste soup. The beef bibimbap was bland, and my spicy tofu soup was not spicy at all but watered down and tasteless. The side dishes weren't tasty either. The only plus side is that the servings are huge.
